Doug is a CFA Charterholder and Series 65 securities license holder. He has spent the majority of his career as a proprietary options trader, developing skills in portfolio management, hedging, derivative pricing and risk management. Doug graduated with distinction from Cornell University in 1992 with a B.S. in Operations Research and Industrial Engineering. He worked for options trading firm, Cooper, Neff and Associates, in New York City and French investment bank, BNP Paribas, in Chicago, before starting his own trading operation at the Chicago Board of Trade. During his career, Doug has traded options on gold, silver, crude oil, natural gas, US Treasury Bonds and individual stocks on the floors of the COMEX, NYMEX, CBOT and CBOE.
